How it Began
Frans’ Flowers has been a staple in the Lower Mainland floral scene for over 30 years. Frans, the founder of Frans’ Flowers, first became involved in the world of florals as a young boy in Holland. Fast forward 30 years, and he started his business with six colorful kiosks in downtown Vancouver, introducing his market-style concept before expanding into the Tri-Cities.
Then, in 2020...
Rhonda Van Haren took over, and her passion for expanding marketing, design, and community has undoubtedly contributed to the shop's long-standing success.
Rhonda said, "The best part of owning a flower shop is working in the local community, networking, and getting to know people. I am very involved in the community, whether it's implementing school fundraisers, providing flowers for weddings, traditional funerals, or just meeting everyday needs."
The Design Studio
The Design Studio is a true working studio, entirely hands-on (no machines), with an amazing team of skilled florists. We welcome walk-ins and pride ourselves on providing friendly and professional service. Every bouquet is thoughtfully designed and hand-crafted with passion, using only the freshest, highest-quality blooms sourced from local growers.
Our Design Studio is dedicated to serving Coquitlam Centre Mall and providing creative floral designs. Open to the public, it’s the perfect place to discuss flowers for weddings, funerals, corporate events, or simply for life’s everyday moments. Our amazing on-site florists have the expertise to craft custom arrangements or bouquets tailored to your specific needs. Even if you're unsure about specific flower choices, simply share your preferred color theme and budget, and they will create a unique design that exceeds your expectations.
Our Retail Store
Our retail store is conveniently located near the food court entrance in Coquitlam Centre. We offer a selection of pre-made hand-tied bouquets for purchase. However, if none of them match your vision, feel free to speak with one of our skilled florists for a custom arrangement.
