The Production Floral Studio Team Member plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations.This is an active position requiring attention to detail, care, and teamwork. You will be responsible for receiving, handling, packing, and shipping delicate floral products with the utmost care to maintain product quality and freshness.
This role is essential in ensuring that flowers are processed and moved efficiently through the Studio while upholding our high standards of quality and safety. As a key part of our business, you’ll work closely with the owners & studio team to meet daily operational goals in a fast-paced environment, supporting an exceptional experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Receiving and Processing Shipments.
• Unload and unpack delicate floral shipments and supplies from our Van with care.
• Inspect flowers for quality and freshness upon arrival, address any issues promptly and take pictures.
• Accurately account and document inventory discrepancies in a timely fashion.
• Trim, cut, and arrange flowers as needed for storage.
Inventory Management
• Prepare and organize floral products and supplies in the warehouse for the Inventory and cooler.
• Report any issues with inventory to management, document and correct.
• Assist with regular inventory counts.
Order Fulfillment
• Pick and pack floral orders for delivery or shipment.
• Prepare floral orders according to specifications – double check for accuracy; ensure all orders are accurately labeled and meet quality standards.
Studio Safety
• Follow established safety protocols while working in the Studio and when using ladders, scissors and floral cutter etc., handling/lifting buckets
• Report any unsafe actions promptly to owners.
• Wear appropriate clothing, including gloves and closed-toe footwear at tall times while in the Studio, and when handling floral products and packing materials.
Studio Cleanliness and Organization
• Contribute to keeping the Studio clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Properly dispose of any waste materials, including wilted or damaged flowers
• Assembly and disassembly of wagons/carts.
• Filling, emptying, and moving buckets of water as well as lifting and moving boxes of product.
• Properly dispose of daily garbage and recycling.
Teamwork
• Communicate effectively with owners and team members.
• Work with team members to troubleshoot issues, identify improvements, and implement solutions.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
• Comfortable/ able to work in a controlled floral cooler environment (4 degrees Celsius or less) for extended periods up to a full shift.
• Working in an open busy Studio.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment, particularly in receiving perishables or related products, is highly preferred.
• Completing the Daily Production Sheet.
• Meeting Production Targets.
• Strong attention to detail and discernment. to ensure accuracy in inventory and quality control.
• Ability to follow direction, prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure in a busy, time-sensitive environment, managing multiple deliveries and shipments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team in a busy warehouse environment.
• Ability to quickly address any issues with deliveries, discrepancies in orders, or damaged goods and escalate to supervisors when necessary.
• Familiarity with basic computer programs and software. Ability to learn internal systems.
• Numeracy skills in order to analyze facts and figures.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet the demands of a high-volume Studio operation.
• Love for and/or knowledge of flowers an asset.

We are looking for someone who is energetic, reliable, professional, and enjoys
interacting with customers. We are in search for a Delivery/assistant for the
Greater Vancouver Area. (Coquitlam TriCity/Burnaby/Vancouver/Surrey/Delta,
Burnaby. Langley/Port Kells)
Drivers to deliver small to Large sized floral arrangements and assist with some
daily task inside shop.
Rate per hour based on experience $20.00
Requirements
- No previous experience is required.
- Able to lift 5-20lbs
- Training will be provided.
- Class 5 license is required

information.
